The Selwyn Foundation presented the second in its series of innovative Ageing & Spirituality interactive webinars on 10 February 2021. Entitled ‘Spiritual strength: does it matter?’, it featured Reverend Caroline Leys, The Selwyn Foundation’s Director of Spiritual Care, and Professor Rod MacLeod, Clinical Advisor Hospice New Zealand, who discussed the five spiritual strengths – Meaning, Connection, Agency, Hope and Faith (as identified by Marc Haufe et al) – and how to support and enable older people to pursue and harness these before they die.
